Boat Dock Hardware - tips and advice

Having the proper hardware and hinges installed in your floating dock is the most important part of the dock construction project.  The weak point of many docks that have fallen apart is due to the poor quality and positioning of the dock hardware. Maritime Docks’ heavy-duty steel dock hardware and hinges are specially designed to assure your docks remain strong and low maintenance. Built from ¼” X5” plate – all our dock hardware is galvanized so that it is rust resistance.  Hinges use a 5/8” tab and a 1”X4” connecting bolt with quick release pin.  

Mooring Whips

Mooring Whips acts as a spring to maintain your boat at a safe, convenient distance away from the dock to prevent impacts caused by waves or the wakes of other passing watercraft. Complete with double braided nylon whip lines, spring lines, and stainless steel mounting hardware are all available here at Maritime Docks.

Aluminum Ramps

Maritime Docks aluminum ramps are lightweight and versatile and are built to your specifications. They are corrosion resistant for the marine environment and enhance any commercial or private waterfront project. Aluminum ramps can be built from 16 feet to 50 feet and in widths from 24 inches to 48 inches.  The decking has anti-skid planting and generous live load capacity.
